Ma'am

My name is Ritva Kari. I was born in Peräseinäjoki. I have lived in Turku and Nurmo. My current home is in the center of Seinäjoki near Lakeuden Risti -church.

My family includes my husband and two now grown children. Our children have already moved to Helsinki and Tampere.

When we lived in Turku, I drove a bus between Turku and Helsinki for three years. In the early 1990s, I studied to become a traffic teacher at the Traffic Education Center of Hämeenlinna Teacher Training College.

I have worked as a driving instructor at Jalasjärvi driving school, Etelä-Pohjanmaan Liikenneopisto, Movia and most recently Pro Drivers Driving School, for a total of more than 20 years. None of these exist in Seinäjoki any more.

Besides my work, I updated my basic studies in educational sciences at the Open University of Jyväskylä. In order to establish a driving school, I also completed the qualification of a leading traffic teacher and entrepreneurship.

After high school it wasn't clear to me where I would continue my studies. I applied to the nearby Seinäjoki vocational school for the driver line. The teachers at school were nice and inspiring. Based on their example, I became interested in the profession of a traffic teacher. 

After the reform of the Driving License Act, I was laid off part-time from autumn 2018, working when necessary. I started planning to start my own driving school, which would not be like the others. At the end of 2019, Outokoulu was born from the reflections, where sufficient teaching is given for a fixed price that includes everything. Such an All-Inclusive service  The goal is to be able to continue doing the work I like.
